I want you to take 3 minutes from your day and answer 4 questions

 

1. What is your big dream ~What is it that your heart is most calling for?

It could be to empower young girls or simply experience peace in your daily life.

 

Imagine you have achieved and are living your above dream…what does it feel like?

Go deep: What foods do you eat, who are you hanging out with, what time do you get up in the morning, how do you feel??

 

2. What is stopping you from making that dream real?

What is the reason you are using to hold yourself back ~ time, money, other people, kids, etc

Be honest with yourself about it. Nobody else will see this

 

3. On a scale of 1-10, how committed are you to make this dream a reality? (1= no commitment and 10 = total commitment)

Again, be really honest with yourself. If you are not committed that is okay! This question is designed to help you take responsibility…now you can!

~ If you answered 6 or less, then know you are not fully ready to make change happen and simply be honest with yourself that what you are saying you want is really not what you want. No judgement, no shame. Just honesty.

~ If you answered 7 or higher, then proceed to question 4.

4. What are you waiting for?

Seriously, if it is that important to you and you are really committed to making changes in your life to live out your dream, then it is time to problem solve this and MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Maybe you need to get a second job, bring in an accountability partner, create a plan, find a mentor or coach, learn to say no.

Whatever it is, it is time to do it.

 

Can I get real with you for a second?

If you are really committed to making this happen, then you have most likely already did a TON of research, gotten the information to make it happen, but you hit a roadblock and stayed there.

 

It was Albert Einstein who said, “you cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it.”

So if you got yourself into debt, you will need to learn new ways of thinking, habits and an entire new relationship with money to get you out of it.

{RBB} A Confession

In the spirit of truth and transparency, I have a confession to make.

 

I have been travelling since Sep 30 and everything I have been doing for the last 2 months flew right out the window.

 

I did absolutely no exercise whatsoever (I sat on planes and in meetings, so I actually moved less than I usually do.)

 

They had food at every break and large meals, and for some reason, if it’s there you like HAVE to eat it…right?!

And don’t get me started on the open bar!!

 

I did not make the effort I could have to ensure I had enough water to drink, so I have spent the last 10 days, seriously dehydrated.

 

Although, its not all bad.

 

This time of gluttony and slackery reminded me why I am on this mission to begin with.

 

I actually CRAVED vegetables and water. (And yes…I think hell has frozen over).

 

I have also spent this time surrounded by leaders, light workers and change-makers and this in itself has driven me to recommit myself to my vision and purpose. I have laughed, cried, hugged and surrendered to my fears, thoughts and insecurities.

 

It has been a completely life-changing 10 days.

 

I have accepted that striving for perfect is irrational and martyrish, I am now shooting for awesome and am ok with that.

 

Forgiveness is a key element I am learning (especially forgiving myself).

 

Results…here I come!

I am back ~  I got up this morning and recommitted to my dream.

 

  • I exercised
  • I am on my way back up to 125oz a day
  • I am ready to jump back into my mission for the month…

Week 2 – Medium breakfast / normal lunch / small dinner

 

Although with the mindset piece….I think a secret bonus to not following my agenda, allowed me to tune into my body even more.

Now, that I am listening, I just need to act accordingly. (Action: the secret of all great successes).

{RBB} Sometimes its overwhelming

Sometimes life gets so overwhelming

and you lose focus.

That’s what happened to me last weekend.

I was on a roll, doing great at drinking 60 oz. of water a day and then it happened.

Drama and stress arrived at my doorstep and I invited it in.

You know those times where everything seems to shift to crap in one day?

That’s when I did it: I stopped focusing on caring for me and started caring about my to do list.

This, of course, added more stress and you know what I did to counteract it…I ate.

I stopped drinking water and grabbed the sugar.

This lasted for 3 days before I was able to see the light, refocus, give myself a much needed hug and get back on the rockstar train.

 

As of Monday, I am back and more determined than ever to shift into awesome.

 

Now to bring this back to money…

Many times we set this big goal and somewhere along the way we slip up. We begin to beat ourselves up for not being perfect, but you know what….screw perfect.

When you slip up.. no need to torture yourself, use it as an opportunity to learn more about yourself, like I realized stress had a huge impact on my weight because I go into autopilot and eat everything!!

The important part is consistency and commitment.

If you fall off the proverbial wagon….get back on.

Wanna have an emergency fund?

Start putting away $1 a day. Seriously….

The simple act of putting away money every day, will allow your energy to shift to that of abundance and gratitude (read: love) and more will come your way.

This one act will actually save you more money that putting $30 each month….pssst. it’s the consistency that is the secret.

Don’t believe me? I challenge you.

Put $1 in a jar, every day for 180 days and tell me if you don’t end up with more than $180.

Money attracts money, so the act of increasing your wealth daily with the $1 will allow more money to flow in from another channel.

Try it…I dare you.

If I’m wrong you have my permission to say I told you so and sing the I was right song.

Challenge: Improving my health will increase my self-worth which will increase my income.

Deets:

Timeframe: (8/1/13 – 7/31/14)

Each month I will implement one new health action and one mental shift into my life and I will track the results to determine if the above theory is accurate.

I will share the journey each week to include a detailed summary at the end of each month.

Outcome:

If it fails – I’ll  be hot

If it succeeds: I’ll be rich and hot

“I want to get out of debt, I just don’t know how…”

I hear these comments all the time; believe me, I’ve used them too!

You don’t get out of debt by sitting in victim mode and whining about why you can’t, because when you really want something you find a way to make it happen.
