{RBB} Moving My Fanny and Staying Present

Wooohooo!!

September is here and it is time to get things movin and get this party started!

I already have sooo many awesome things happening this month and cannot wait to see

what comes from this month’s challenge!!

August was all about water, which symbolizes emotion and movement

(These are all related to the 2nd chakra and connection to self.)

Whew! I really experienced some shifts and released some baggage!

 walking path

September is all about physical movement and staying present in the moment.

(This is related to the 1st chakra and connection to earth.)

Health goal: to exercise 45 min daily

Week 1 ~ I will begin stretching and walking 15 min a day

Week 2 ~  I will increase this to walking 30 min a day.

Week 3 ~ I will increase this to walking 45 min a day.

Week 4 ~ I will alternate days of 45 min walking / weight bearing exercises.

Mindset shift: Staying in the moment

Whenever I face a challenge or am doing something that is uncomfortable, I have a habit of escaping in my mind. I will immediately go to the past or future and lose the moment I am in entirely. So my challenge will be not escaping, not running away from the experience, but to fully immerse myself in it.

I have never enjoyed exercise and have yet to find an activity that I enjoy enough to continue on a regular basis. So I am a little anxious on how I will do, but as the saying goes, whatever you are avoiding is what you need most. So here goes! Plus, it is finally starting to cool off in the evenings here in FL, so this should motivate me to get outside…which always clears my energy and connects me with the universe!

I encourage you to join me in this fantastical journey of improving my health to increase my self- worth to increase my income.

You Can Handle This

I totally get it; I know change is scary.

Change feels risky and risk is all about trust.

Trusting you, trusting the Divine (Universe, God, Spirit), trusting the Divine in You.

It’s walking into the unknown that is the hardest part.

You tell yourself,  this situation/ this life may not be awesome but, at least you know what ever comes up you can handle it.

You want to go bigger, but you are scared that something will come up you don’t know how to handle…right??

The one thing I can tell you for sure…you can handle it.

We always tend to think of the worst things in life that could happen and that we would never survive them, but…. people do it every day.

strength

Remember a few years ago, when I found out I had a brain tumor.

At first, I was in denial and tried to convince myself  it wasn’t a big deal.

Then I clearly remember leaving the neurologists office – when I had just found out it was the size of a giant gumball and it was in such a delicate area that I had to go to another town to a specialist – unlocking my car and saying to my husband, “I don’t think I can handle this, I’m not strong enough.”

I’ll never forget his response, “Be whatever you need to honey. I’ll be strong enough for both of us”.

In that moment, I still felt afraid (terrified actually), I also somehow knew I would get through it.

I knew this was a journey I needed to be on.

Then the recovery came after the surgery and I had to re-learn to do many things, including re-learn to walk. Now, you know, I am a very independent person, so this not only pissed me off, but made me question my worth.

I haven’t told anyone this before, but there were days that I wondered if I even wanted to try. I thought it would be easier to simply give up…on my dreams, myself…on life.

I had no idea what kind of life I would have because of this and I wasn’t sure I wanted to find out.

But I persevered and used the anger and frustration and tears to pull me through.

I handled it.                                              strength1

You will too. You just need to keep taking one step, one day at a time.

Don’t worry about what is down the road, keep looking at the step in front of you and do that.

You don’t have to go through this alone; I will be with you.

You can be whatever you need to, honey,  I will be strong enough for both of us.

From my heart,

Jenean

{RBB} Let’s do this!

 Let’s Do This!

money and health

I am testing this theory:  increased body confidence =  increased worthiness = increased income.

I’m calling it the Rockin B & B Challenge or RBB for short (B & B = bod and bank account).

For the next 12 months I will be:

Taking one action step to improve my health  and making one mindset shift to ensure I maintain it.

I will track the whole thing and share it all every week, to keep me accountable and in hopes of inspiring you to challenge yourself!

free

If it works: I will be rich and hot

If it doesn’t work: I will be hot

(That’s a win/win for me!)

To help me rock this challenge in the healthiest way possible, I am so honored to have been able to team up with  The Women’s Wellness Coach, Michelle Greenman.

Once I explained my plans, she was thrilled to share her wisdom to help make this a brilliant success. She will be the guiding force to make sure I focus on the most important aspects first and do it completely naturally.

To begin, we agreed that water was the best place for me to start.

You see a couple of weeks ago (2 to be exact), I became aware of just how little water I actually drank.

There was a few days in a row, I only had about 2 cups each day!!

No wonder I was so tired and addicted to energy drinks.

I began making an effort and now I am up to 30 oz. a day or one large water bottle. So I will stick with that focus and increase it to 125 oz. a day, which is 1/2 my body weight in ounces.

To really make a permanent shift, she encouraged me to focus on short-term goals.

Instead of getting overwhelmed with thinking about how much 125 oz. of water is, break it up. So I now challenge myself to drink 8 oz. every 2 hours; this feels way easier, right!?

water

August Challenge Summary:

My Health Goal: Drink half my body weight in ounces daily -125oz- or 4 large water bottles.  I will increase by 30oz each week, so I am drinking 125 oz. daily by the last week of Aug

My Game Changer: Think small; break up the challenge into smaller, less overwhelming parts and slowly increase.

I am so excited to see how this challenge will change my life and I do hope you will join me!

Either way, jump down below to comment and share your story with Michelle and I,

we absolutely love hearing from you.

Hugs,

Jenean
